Aspiring journalists from Limbag Gabrielian, the official publication of Colegio de San Gabriel Arcangel, Inc. (CDSGA)โ€”Senior High School, Hotel Campus, convened on February 25, for the 2nd Camp Dyorno, organized by The Intervenor, CDSGA's official school publication.ย

Aimed to impart valuable knowledge gleaned from the recent Regional Higher Education Press Conference (RHEPC), editors from various sections of The Intervenor served as speakers, sharing their experiences and insights gained during the podium, which took place from February 11-13 in Arayat, Pampanga.ย

"Hindi lang ito para mahasa ang skills niyo sa iisang kategorya, ito ay para maging bukas kayong magkaroon ng kasanayan sa ibang pang categories,โ€ stated by Winther Betchaida, Editor-in-Chief of The Intervenor, emphasizing the broader goal of the camp.ย

Attendees were exposed to diverse perspectives on different writing and cartooning categories, ethical considerations, and the nuances of reporting, directly from those who recently navigated a high-level press conference.

First Camp Dyorno was successfully held on January 14, 2025 setting a precedent for this ongoing tradition of journalistic mentorship.ย
