The CDSGA Gabrielian Seraphs made a resounding statement in their Bulacan University and College Athletic Association (BUCAA) Season 3 Womenโ€™s Volleyball Tournament campaign, sweeping Colegio de Calumpit (CCI), 2โ€“0, on September 28 at STI Malolos.

Stepping onto the court for their first match of the season, the Seraphs seized control from the opening serve, orchestrating aggressive offense, disciplined defense, and seamless chemistry.

CDSGA set the tone early in the opening set, mounting relentless pressure through sharp attacks and precise plays. Though CCI battled fiercely to keep pace, the Seraphs kept their composure to take the set, 25โ€“18.

Carrying that momentum into the second set, the Seraphs dominated through lethal serving and timely net defense, refusing to surrender their advantage. While CCIโ€™s Basa tested the CDSGA defense with persistent attacks, the Seraphs held firm. Arizapa then delivered a barrage of decisive spikes to seal a commanding 25โ€“10 second-set victory and complete the sweep.

Arizapa capped off her stellar performance by earning Game MVP honors.
